Another game of the Europa League round of 32 had to be moved. Due to the restrictions on the entry of people who have passed through England, the game between Benfica and Arsenal, on the 18th, will not be played at Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon. The new stage will be the Olympic Stadium in Rome.

The measure by the Portuguese government follows what is in effect in Germany and Spain as well. Due to the Covid-19 mutation, some countries have closed their borders to those who passed through the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa, countries where variants of the disease were found.

This is the third game that the European entity changes locations in the second most important knockout competition on the continent. Previously, games between Real Sociedad and Manchester United and Molde and Hoffenheim have changed. The return matches, however, are maintained for the places of origin.
